Align on objectives of research study -what are you seeking to understand about customers?

Draft research methodology to meet objectives. Often the methodology includes visual stimulus to share with participants.

Identify target participants, create a screener survey based on target behaviors and demographics, and recruit participants using existing customer base and/or outside tools.

This often starts with 1:1 in-depth research to understand behaviors and needs in a space prior to moving on to other methods (e.g., surveys) to get larger scale responses.

Take transcripts from interviews and tag each statement from participants using AI tools to quantify the qualitative information. Roll up all of the information to form insights around what customers want and need related to our research objectives. Founder | Product Researcher and Strategist
Kinsey Hart has deep experience in customer research and business strategy and a passion for building products that customers want and need. In her latest work, she used design research to identify viable opportunities to expand Ingenio’s total addressable market from $2B to $20B. She has also founded a DTC custom jewelry business at Alva, built out a new marketplace business at Upwork, and partnered with clients on strategic projects at Deloitte Consulting.
She received her MBA and Master’s in Design Innovation from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. In her free time, Kinsey enjoys playing tennis, running, and finding the best almond croissants in San Francisco.
